TEAM SMAC
Get to know your TEAM SMAC Instructors.
Seaforth Martial Arts Centre’s (SMAC) Instructors consists of Certified Professional and Volunteer Martial Artists. Not only does our staff bring exceptional Martial Art knowledge, but they are trained in the “Art of Teaching”. At Seaforth Martial Arts Centre we are firm believers that you don’t just become an instructor because you have achieved a certain rank in your training, but because you are passionate about passing your valuable knowledge onto your students.
Our Dynamic Instructors are certified under Seaforth Martial Arts Centre’s Leadership Program. This five-level program is designed to drastically improve a student’s leadership skills. It has proven to be very effective in training our Instructors to be more confident leaders in and outside of the school.
Hand-picked, trained, and certified by the owners, every instructor must complete intensive training prior to becoming a TEAM SMAC Instructor. Our instructors are confident in teaching SMAC’s philosophy and curriculum, adding their own unique teaching styles. Seaforth Martial Arts Centre requires all instructors to stay current with the evolving curriculum as well as their own personal training, so they are able to stay on top of the field. To do this, all instructors must re-certify on an annual basis.
